I was so surprised at 2 am this morning when woke up and I saw that Donald J. Trump, who is a criminal and pathological liar, won the US president election. The defenders of democracy failed and that includes me. Those voters that voted for Trump are they really that stupid? Apparently they are that stupid and they know nothing about World history that they just repeated it. If you are one of the ones that knows World History, why would you still vote for Trump? Are you that stupid too? I have also recently been told “ that people just don’t care.”

I have always been concerned after VP Kamala Harris who replaced President Joe Biden as the US Democrats Presidential candidate after the first presidential debate for this coming election. I wasn’t sure that people would be okay with a woman as president. She was definitely a better choice after the debate then President Joe Biden. President Biden looked terrible. It was not a good optic. I even texted my friend about my concerns. He was sure Vice President Harris would win. Well she didn’t. I think it was last year maybe 2022 when I started looking into World History. Maybe it was when Trump was president. Anyway I told my mom, it seems history repeats itself just about every 100 years. After all I surmised back in the 1980’s that, “people are people”. I had spent some time in England and being from California it was a great experience to live in The East Midlands for about 17 month. It is there that I concluded the we as people of the world have the same problems. The only differences are that we speak different languages and live in different geographical locations. Yes, cultures are different too. However, the basics of all humanities differences boils down to language and location.

My greatest concern were these three things. If people looked at them individually they didn’t seem so bad, but combined together it was very concerning. For me before the election I was concerned about the Republican parties attitudes, of course Ex-President Trumps attitudes and actions, and the recent decision by the Republican Supreme Court majorities decision on Presidential Immunity. People were NOT talking about these three things. I was suppose to do a blog or a video some 3 or 4 months ago. I knew I needed to do it, but I was stuck not knowing what to say. I waited to long as did others. Whoever is leading the Democratic Party really sucks. They didn’t seem to be in a hurry then, they were slow to get the word out and their advertising for Harris was weak. it was trivial stuff. It reminds me of how Democrat committee, that group of Lawyers, sucked at the 2nd Impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump. They were supposed to show evidence on one Friday. They were taking a break, so I went to the grocery store to get somethings. When I came back home and turned on the news I was surprised that these Democratic committee had agreed not to show evidence. WTF.
Young Lawyers heartache of losing a lawsuit in court. After the verdict of the judges.
What lawyer goes to court and decides to not show the evidence? I was looking forward to it because I had not watched any of the proceedings. I was livid with these people. How stupid are these lawyers? What was going on behind the scenes? Then at the closing of these proceedings a couple of lawyers from that special committee were allowed to speak. One of them, I can’t recall who it was. Maybe it was both of them a male and a female. They had the gall to say,” the American people know the truth.” or something close to that. Again, WTF. They didn’t show the evidence. What lawyer stands in front of any jury and just says anything remotely close to that? These two and the group combined are idiots. Straight up dumbest move of a mentally challenged lawyers to me. Whether or not the Senate was going to listen or not. That wasn’t your problem. Your problem was to show the jury, the American people, what’s what. These dumb-ass Democrats should have insisted that they show the evidence to get it on record, but they didn’t. Trump was acquitted of one of the most serious crimes of this century. It was the biggest threat to our democracy and they messed up terribly.
Panorama of Roman Forum (Foro Romano) in the Morning, Rome, Italy
This brings us back to Ancient Rome now that Trump is going to be anointed a King in America where we have never had Kings. The US constitution has never ever allowed for a King to govern on this land. We certainly don’t have the checks and balances of the 3 bodies of government any more. If no one does anything about the most recent Republican Supreme Court majority’s decision on Presidential immunity. Each of our two major parties have recently perpetuated the idea that party is more important then the country. That is falsehood. We have always had these 3 bodies of government Legislative, Judicial and Executive branches. However what good is an oath if no one keeps their word on it?? The Republicans have shown they won’t keep their oath to protect the US Constitution for enemies foreign and domestic. Regarding Ancient Rome is that it was okay to kill one’s political enemies. In one day, one of the Emperors of Rome killed 25,000 of his perceived enemies. There were 25,000 people that reminded this man of his brother who he had killed, so he killed them all in one day. I forget who that Roman Emperor was. I got this from reading an abridged version of, “The Decline and fall of the Roman Empire” by Gibbons. That brings us back to today. Will Trump kill his political opponents?? Here are some questions that should be asked. What will Trump do?What will or won’t the Republican Party let him do? Will they support the US Constitution? What will they do with their power with no checks and balances? The Republicans have the Presidency, the Supreme Court majority, the Senate and how much of the House of Representatives? (They have the House now too as of Nov.13th). A run of the table…..wow!
Picture of : Chuck Schumer’s petition from my iPhone
All I have are questions for both sides. There are problems with our leaders on both sides of the isle. All these people who did not stand up for the US Constitution need to be removed from office. On November 6, 2024 I got a text message from a famous Democrat who has been in Federal office for a very long time. This man has been a United States Senator of New York since 1999. Most recently he as been moved into a leadership role as the Senate Majority leader during the 2021 session. This text is by demTurnout. Did you get that message text too? The ruling from the Republican Supreme Court majority came on July 1, 2024 regarding presidential immunity. The majority court converted our Executive branch of government into a Kingship. No Kings have been ruling here since our independence. This happened 5 months ago. Neither Republican nor Democrats worked on anything to cancel this ruling. WTF. Why??? Now after 5 months Democrats want to do something. Excuse me. Why did you wait 5 months to say anything Democrats? Were you so self assured that VP Harris would win? Excuse me but she can’t be a King either. Why didn’t this happening within the first week the court passed the Presidential Immunity decision. This has been a red flag for months. You guys and gals on both sides of the Isle should be disgusted with the Supreme Court majority.
A Kings Crown and the Crown of Thorns
You ALL took an oath to protect the US Constitution and none of you thought this was a Red FLAG?? The pathway to Kingship is a terrible thing for both parties. Senator Chuck Schumer makes me think he thought it was only bad if the Republicans won the Presidency and that is why this is coming out now. I don’t know what Senator Chuck Schumer was thinking really, but I can’t help but wonder the reason he waited to do something about this Kingship thing. Did he think VP Harris would win? How I see this goes like this. It appears to me that the Kingship was okay if Harris won, but now that she lost we need to get this petition done. YOU are a terrible leader along with Mitch McConnell. Trump should never had been a candidate. He has lied or gave misleading statements over 10,500 + times.Trump has stated in this last campaign that no one will control him. You know who else acted that way was Adolf Hitler. Hitler could not be control either. Hitler destroyed German’s democracy. He bad mouthed their fundamental institutions. He scapegoated people. Like Jews etcetera, etcetera…… Trump has 4 out of 5 attributes of Hitler. He has shown that he will break from norms of behavior and that makes him dangerous. What are the next steps? I only have questions.
What are the next steps? I only have questions.
I wonder what will happen to our democracy? Will Trump be wrangled in? He has said no one will or can control me in his recent campaign. Will someone try to kill this next US president? What did Trump mean when he said we won’t have to vote again? Will Trump put his own interests before our nation? What religious rulings and laws will be imposed? Will there be a national banning of abortion? If they can get a federal abortion ban in place, where will this stop? Will they make us all join a gym? What else? Will it be the end of public schools? About 20 years ago Republicans National website said they want to privatize Public education. Will they do it for profit? Will Trump and the Republicans gut our Democracy? Will the leaders turn our country into a Christian Caliphate/ a theocracy? Who will stand up for our Democracy? Anyone? Will the checks and balances set forth by the US Constitution still exist? Since when has there been a King leading in the US??? Where will the checks and balances come from or just rubber stamps? What regulations will the Republicans allow Trump to bypass?

I am waiting to see what happens. Maybe what Ryan McBeth said is right that Trump will do some good things. See his video “What a Trump Victory means for Ukraine” However, I doubt it. Trump isn’t a guy who units people. He doesn’t unit people that have an opposing view to him. He is a bully, can’t hear opposing opinions (very much like Ancient Roman Government), mentally weak, he is not smart (he doesn’t have a high IQ), he seems to be a fascist, , etc. Will Trump seek his own interests before the Nation’s?
2nd comment on The View ……………. I changed it a little bit. Interesting article and they had some interesting conversations. Glad to hear they know it wasn’t just the Presidential Immunity vote that was a problem. It was the Republican parties attitudes and actions combine with the Supreme Court and now the US President the people chose that is the problem. However, the real consequences of a Republican sweep of all the branches of government. It is too bad the Democrats didn’t take advantage of that knowledge and warn the American people. The introspection needs to be toward ourselves. Voters are the second line of defense for this democracy. They failed. They chose a liar and insurrectionist that the Republican Senate protected. It was the Republican Senate that did not do their job to protect the US Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic.People don’t have a moral compass anymore. As far as Latino males voting for Trump. It may have just been a cultural thing that they won’t vote for a woman US president. Well was that the real issue? Also, the advertising by the Democrats was weak. Why is there a Chuck Schemer petition going around about Presidential Immunity to cancel it? It is 4 months too late…. Why, Why, Why???
The King will do what?
If these winners destroy the democracy of our country, I wouldn’t call that a win.
America divided concept, american flag on cracked background. US elections, republicans democrats polarization
I am a man who grew up in the 1980's. I traveled to the Midlands of England as a Christian missionary. From that experience of observing people there and the people in California. In my 20's I realized that people aren't all that different from each other. Sure we speak different languages and we live in a different geographies, but that is really about it. The only real change has been technology. People are people. I found it odd while in England doing missionary work. I was talking to lots of people. Most people weren't open to talk about the 2 things that dictated their lives. That was politics and religion. I really believe it doesn't matter what century one lives in people are people. I try to read a lot of different books. I find history fascinating especially Roman and Greek history. When I returned to California in the mid 80's, I went to the local Junior College. I took a political science 101 class. This one particular section in our text book stuck out to me. I was amazed about what it said about people. That one paragraph or two stood out. It stated that people don't care and will vote for it as long as it does not affects them..... It meant that most people don't care or think about the consequences of how they are voting. The book continued saying that eventually there will come some law that does affect that person. Eventually laws do get voted on that effect each of us. Around 1994, I got involved in politics to defeat a bill that was called the Welfare initiative. It had nothing to do with welfare. It was a bill disguised as welfare, but was about the give the governor enough power to dictate all state workers wages. I only learned much later that most bills in our legislature are not clean. I wanted to create a blog in 2018 because it seems as a country we are loosing our way. Politically, I am in the center. The center of both parties. I like some of what Republicans and the Democrats do. I believe in balance.
